iPhone 8 is presented today in a new sketch that aims to show us the location that Touch ID would have in the case of the future Apple smartphone. Contrary to the rumors that appeared last week, this sketch suggests that the iPhone 8 will have the Touch ID fingerprint reader integrated in the case and not in the screen, as almost everyone who is interested in the new smartphone would like.
The sketch below for the iPhone 8 seems to have been taken from the factory of a partner of the Apple company, it also shows us the vertical dual camera prepared for the new smartphone. Unlike other images or sketches, this one places the LED flash of the dual camera under the space dedicated to the iPhone 8 camera, and not inside it, so the sketch could be for an older model.
Many people criticize the simple idea of the Apple company to integrate the Touch ID sensor of the iPhone 8 in the case, so if Apple really did this, it could convince many potential customers to avoid the new product. It's stupid to look for the iPhone 8's fingerprint reader in the case, but considering that some Android competitors have implemented fingerprint readers in the case, Apple could do the same.

Staying on the Touch ID issue, a recent theory suggests that Apple could integrate the iPhone 8's fingerprint reader into the device's Power button. The theory would be based on sketches that suggest the fact that the iPhone 8 will have a longer Power button than those of previous models, and the molds in the image below show us how this change could be made by Apple.
The truth is that the Power button that is supposed to be for the iPhone 8 is twice as long as the one that is currently integrated in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus case. However, it is very difficult to scan a fingerprint in a Power button, so it is unlikely that the iPhone 8 will have the fingerprint reader with Touch ID integrated there instead of the screen or the case.
Apple seems to have a lot of problems integrating Touch ID into the iPhone 8's OLED screen, and that's why there are so many contradictory rumors about the change. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that we will find out the final decision regarding the implementation of Touch ID in iPhone 8 by June-July, so we will have to wait until we know how things are.
