Google displays personalized Search results

Google has updated the Search application for iOS and Android, now displaying personalized results for searches made by users.

Google launched some time ago a special application in iOS to help users find the information they would normally look for using the Google Search search engine more quickly. The Google Search application from Google also has a multitude of other interesting functions, and since yesterday it also has a personalized feed with information for the searches we do directly from the application.

Google announced that its artificial intelligence has evolved so much that it is now able to meet our needs, and this will be visible in Google Search searches. According to those from Google, the application now displays information based on our interests, all these details being visible in the form of books in the Google Search application, the company's idea not being that new.

Google claims that based on our interests we will be able to see books with information based on news, videos, music, plus any other information relevant to us. Google also takes into account the important events that happen on the planet, or around our location and displays the relevant information within the Google Search application from the iPhone or Android to keep us informed.

Google claims that all the information regarding what interests us is taken from the way we use various other Google services, but also from the browsing history. Basically, Google follows us everywhere on the Internet, and in the Google Search application it tries to guess what interests us in order to display relevant information so that we can continue to use its services in the future.

Google puts a lot of emphasis on the fact that the Google Search application is personalized based on our interests, something that will certainly not make many people feel good. Google has been harshly criticized on various occasions for the fact that it tracks users everywhere on the Internet, and with the update released today, it confirms the fact that it knows almost everything we want, mainly after monitoring Internet browsing.

"Since introducing the feed in December, we've advanced our machine learning algorithms to better anticipate what's interesting and important to you. You'll see cards with things like sports highlights, top news, engaging videos, new music, stories to read and more. To provide information from various perspectives, news stories may have multiple viewpoints from a variety of sources, as well as other related information and articles."

Google has updated the Google Search application on both iPhone and Android, so that all users who use it on their smartphone have the opportunity to enjoy these changes. Google is currently making changes to the Google Search search engine, so it is expected that we will also see a series of news there for the way we will see information for the searches we make.
