iOS 10.3.3 was launched last night by the Apple company for all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch compatible, the list of changes being short and without too many important mentions. The Apple company said that iOS 10.3.3 only brings performance improvements, solutions to some operating problems and the closing of some vulnerabilities that could put us in danger by using iDevices, but all these do not represent for many a very good reason to to do the installation.
iOS 10.3.3 was not presented by the Apple company and the major changes it brings for iPhone and iPad, i.e. closing some extremely important vulnerabilities. iOS 10.3.3 has some extremely important vulnerabilities solved by the Apple company, including one that allows a hacker to control our iPhone after we connect to a Wi-Fi network.
iOS 10.3.3 fixes a security issue in Broadcom Wi-Fi chips that could be exploited by hackers to run unsigned code on iPhones. This problem was also "solved" by Apple in a recent iOS update, but it seems that only in iOS 10.3.3 was the correct solution found to protect iPhone and iPad users against hackers who wish them harm.

iOS 10.3.3 has this problem solved under the name CVE-2017-9417, it being presented for the first time a few months ago in a Blackhat security conference. iPhone and iPad are not the only mobile terminals that have these chips, but iOS 10.3.3 prevents hackers from taking total control over our devices when we connect to a simple Wi-Fi network, so you have to be careful.
iOS 10.3.3 solves many other iPhone and iPad vulnerabilities, but this is the most important of them, so you know why you need to install it. I know that many of you use public Wi-Fi networks on your iPhone and iPad, and the vulnerability blocked in iOS 10.3.3 allows a hacker to take control of your device when you connect to such a network, so it would be advisable to update.

iOS 10.3.3 is available for iPhone and iPad through the Software Update system, and my recommendation is to install it as quickly as possible to protect yourself against this vulnerability, if you care about what can be done by exploiting it.
