WhatsApp recently launched 2 new and very important functions for the users of the application, these being presented here in a few lines, but now they are officially available. I'm talking about 2 functions that are implemented after several months of testing, and for now it seems that only the WhatsApp application for Android has them available, but they will definitely reach the phones iPhone.
WhatsApp first implemented the possibility of setting text statuses for its application, users no longer having to use statuses with pictures and videos. WhatsApp at one point replaced the standard text statuses with the Stories feature, but now it has returned to better thoughts, this feature has already been offered on the iPhone for some time, a previous update enabling it for us.
However, WhatsApp has implemented something new on Android that does not yet exist on the iPhone, and here we are talking about that system that allows the viewing of video clips in a window above the conversation. I talked to you a few weeks ago about this new function for WhatsApp, it being tested first on the Android platform, and the American company also implemented it here first, because it is much easier to do it.
WhatsApp has released 2 important new features
WhatsApp now displays any kind of video clips over the conversations held by users, so they will no longer have to see the video clip first to then discuss. The idea of those from WhatsApp is very good because the user can see that clipvide while chatting with a person, and then can close it quickly, without being forced to see it on the whole screen, this option being still available anyway.
WhatsApp has the function for video clips permanently available in the application, but the one for text statuses is temporary, any status disappearing after 24 hours from publication. Basically, here we are talking about a combination between standard text statuses and the Stories function that WhatsApp tried to impose on us some time ago, but at least we now have the possibility to use text statuses again in any application.
WhatsApp also launched this week a new platform that allows large companies to talk with customers, or to send them various useful information in real time. For now, a limited number of companies have access to this function, but WhatsApp intends to expand it exponentially and there will be many happy users that it will be available for any kind of company that wants to use it.
