iPhone 8 has had Very Poor Sales so far

The iPhone 8 had very poor sales, below those of the previous models, to the amazement of everyone, including Apple, which will release the iPhone X soon.

iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus have had very poor sales so far, the first data on the sales of iPhone phones in T3 2017 confirming this. According to the company CIRP, which specializes in monitoring the sales of mobile phones, the iPhone 8 recorded even weaker sales than an S-series phone, which the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), most likely predict it before the presentation.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus only accounted for 16% of Apple's total mobile phone sales in Q3 2017, down from the iPhone 6S in Q3 2015. That model accounted for 24% of total iPhone sales in Q3 2015. Q8 7, so we are talking about an 8 percent decrease in sales, a sign that in reality the two phones were sold in only XNUMX-XNUMX million units.

iPhone 8 Plus recorded 10% of sales, while its "brother" or smaller recorded 6% of sales, so we see for the first time that the model with a larger screen would be even more popular. The difference in sales compared to the old models suggests that Apple has a lot to recover with iPhone X after the phone will be officially launched, but unfortunately the estimated production so far is far below the customers' expectations.

iPhone 8 has had very poor sales so far

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus registered 43% of the total sales of iPhone phones in Q3 2017, so the difference compared to the iPhone 8 series is huge, but the latter was only on the market for one week of the quarter. Despite this, its sales are much lower than those of other series that were sold for a similar period, so it is quite clear the situation in which the products are now.

iPhone 8 weak sales

iPhone 8 was launched by the Apple company knowing what kind of problems there will be with phone sales, since iPhone X will be launched much later. Many rumors announced the fact that the sales of the new phones are low, and now we have some figures that show us how big the problem really is for those at Apple, they are losing many billions of dollars due to the lack of interest from customers.

"iPhone 8 and 8 Plus accounted for only 16% of total sales, compared to a 24% share for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus two years ago. While it's a little early to know, it appears that this even lower share relative to that earlier 'S' model probably resulted from some buyers delaying a purchase, we think in anticipation of the new iPhone X."

iPhone 8 is already available in many countries around the world and can be bought at will by anyone who wants to have it, the Apple company having no problems honoring the orders. After the iPhone X is released, fewer people will look at the new model, but a bit cheaper, so it will be interesting to see how sales will evolve after the new model is also available on global markets.
