watchOS 4.2 was released by Apple

Watch 4.2 was launched last night by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, the new version of the operating system being scheduled for release together with iOS 11.2, but things have changed a bit. iOS 11.2 was released over the weekend because Apple had to fix a major issue in iOS 11.1.2, while watchOS 4.2 came only after Apple Pay Cash was released, which is today.

The only major novelty that watchOS 4.2 brings is the support for Apple Pay Cash, so absolutely useless in Romania, so you update just to tick something off. There are no other new features in watchOS 4.2 for us, but most likely some operating system issues have been fixed and you should have a better experience.

watchOS 4.2 can be installed by anyone through the Software Update system that can be accessed through the Watch application on the iPhone, but only if you have already installed iOS 11.2 there.
