The iPhone X resisted much better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 regarding the destruction of the OLED screen by the appearance of the permanent burn-in effect on the screen. To be completely honest, I am very surprised that the iPhone X survived better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in terms of the burn-in effect.

The iPhone X was launched by the Apple company with warnings regarding the appearance of the burn-in effect if the same image is displayed for too long on its screen. Now we know that iPhone X needs 510 hours of constant display of the same image for the burn-in effect to become permanent, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 having lower performances.

The iPhone X basically has a much better screen than those of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in terms of preventing the biggest problem of OLED screens. Considering these results of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 screens compared to the iPhone X, we can enjoy what Apple has done with its phone.

The iPhone X will be very hard affected by the screen burn-in effect, compared to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, but that doesn't mean you have to push its limits. Apple knows how annoying the burn-in effect is for OLED screens, so it designed the iPhone X not to be seriously affected by it, and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 customers can't say the same.
