iPhone X: Target of a New Lawsuit Against Apple

The iPhone X is the target of a new lawsuit opened against the Apple company because of the technologies "borrowed" by the Americans for its phones.

iPhone X Target Apple Process

iPhone X is again the target of a new open process imposed on the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, those from Cupertino will have to prove in court that the technologies used in the phone are their own or licensed. Corephotonics is the company that sued Apple this time, claiming that the technologies used in the iPhone X camera and the Do Not Disturb While Driving function are copied by Apple.

Corephotonics also sued Apple last year because of the dual camera in the iPhone 7 Plus, and now it seems that it has extended this process to the iPhone X as well, as is normal. The Corephotonics company is founded by two Israelis, and they claim that the technology used by Apple for the dual camera in its phones is actually developed by them.

Apple met with those from Corephotonics in 2012 to discuss the technologies developed by the company, American teams analyzing the cameras developed by the Israelis. Although in 2014 Apple discussed the possible licensing of Corephotonics technologies, in the end no agreement was reached, although Apple tested dual camera prototypes.

Basically, Apple analyzed the technology of Corephotonics up to a month before launching the iPhone 7 Plus with a dual camera, and refused to license the company's technologies, and now it is being asked to pay for what it "borrowed". Now it will be interesting to see how the Apple company will defend the decision to take over the technologies of others without licensing them
