iPhone XS some users have reported serious problems with WiFi and 4G connectivity in the last two weeks, the complaints are intensifying, and the Apple company has started to take them seriously. Those from Apple started to contact their customers to ask about WiFi and 4G problems that they complain about, a sign that they affect many people.

You can see in the image below what it is about, the coverage of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max antennas reducing the signal strength of the phones, which I have also confirmed. Although in my case the WiFi/4G signal fluctuates when I do this, only the GSM performance is affected for the download speed, but apart from that everything is normal.

Apple is asking affected customers to install software that monitors how WiFi and 4G connections fluctuate when iPhone XS phones are being used by them. Based on the analysis of this information, those from Apple will be able to figure out what exactly needs to be changed in the iPhone XS series to provide a normal user experience.

"Apple just reached out to me to see if I could answer some questions about my XS Max reception issues. … they're doing an outreach to some affected users and are asking to install a baseband logger to track my connection to the tower.”

Apple proceeds in the same way every time problems of this kind are reported and does not manage to solve a single situation because it does not really face the problems. Unfortunately, it is not known how long it could take until Apple releases an update for iOS 12 that will solve the problems, so we will have to be very patient.
