In July, LG was at the center of rumors without much "substance" regarding the launch of a foldable phone, but now the subject is back in the world's attention after we have an official confirmation from the Koreans regarding the development of the foldable phone. LG refused to provide more details beyond actually confirming that it is developing a foldable phone at the moment, but stated that it is in no rush to bring this model to market, at least not yet.

LG claims that it would have done some market studies to find out if people would be interested in buying such a phone, and its fans are not too sure that they would like to have something like this in their hands.
