Digi Mobil. The mobile phone operator had an unpleasant surprise in October, because Telekom managed to surpass it, for the first time, in terms of the number of customers attracted to the network through porting. We are talking here about the data collected for mobile telephony and fixed telephony, with Digi Mobil recording lower figures than those from Telekom, despite the fact that the number of people attracted to the network for subscriptions was higher than in 2017.
Digi Mobil. In October 2018, almost 82.000 mobile phone numbers were ported between operators in Romania, and as expected, the RCS & RDS operator was placed in the first position. 29.781 mobile numbers were ported to the Digi Mobil network in October 2018, Orange occupying second place, Telekom's mobile division third, with 14.304 mobile numbers, plus another 9000 customers for the former Romtelecom division, Vodafone occupying the last position.

Digi Mobil. On the landline side, things were much different, because 28.315 numbers were ported, 600% more than in October 2017, the vast majority reaching Telekom. More precisely, 24.226 fixed telephone numbers entered the Telekom network in October 2018, and only 2.732 in the Digi Mobil network, the difference being a huge one, but a result of the new offers that the group owned by Deutsche Telekom keeps making .
Digi Mobil. In total, Telekom managed to surpass without appeal the operator owned by RCS & RDS, and this after many months in which it held the first place, being the champion in terms of porting. It seems that Telekom's new offers are beginning to show how problematic they are for Digi Mobil, and if things continue like this, it is possible that many of the customers lost in recent years will return to the network, especially since the services are better, out of many regards.
