Huawei. USA CHANGES THE STRATEGY AGAINST THE CHINESE

Huawei is experiencing a very big change of strategy from the US regarding the telecommunications equipment of the Chinese, here is what they have decided to do now.

Huawei strategy

Huawei it was constantly attacked for several months by the USA and some of its allies, but the Americans did not manage to convince even everyone that they had to ban Chinese products without reservations. Considering that the previous strategy of the USA was not successful, now the Americans are changing their attitude in an attempt to finally convince the European partners that they must avoid at all costs the products manufactured by Huawei, or even ZTE.

In a recent press conference, an American official began to praise the strategy of the German government, which decided not to directly ban the telecommunications equipment of Huawei, or ZTE. Instead, the German government imposed new, stricter rules for telecommunications equipment to be used for 5G networks, and this could directly exclude Chinese companies such as Huawei, ZTE, because they have unreliable equipment.

Huawei. USA CHANGES THE STRATEGY AGAINST THE CHINESE

The US is changing its strategy because it tried until now to force its allies to believe blindly in all the accusations made against those from Huawei, but not all countries were convinced so easily. Given that Huawei was not banned everywhere the Americans wanted, now the US is trying to praise the initiatives aimed at strengthening the security of telecommunications equipment, even if this does not mean the direct ban of the manufacturers.

At this point we're looking for governments to adopt security standards like we're seeing in Germany. Systems may only be sourced from trustworthy suppliers whose compliance with national security regulations and provisions for the secrecy of telecommunications and for data protection is assured. Network traffic must be regularly and constantly monitored for any abnormality and, if there is any cause for concern, appropriate protection measures must be taken.

Huawei has had a little "leniency" from the Germans, but this could be just a method by which they absolve themselves from taking a decision that would directly ban Chinese products. There are advanced commercial relations between Germany and China, and this was definitely the basis for not banning Huawei directly, but for imposing stricter security rules, which the products created by the Chinese could not pass in the form current.

Huawei has been involved in scandals for a year or so by the US, and despite appearances, there are quite a few countries that have banned its products, and others will do so again.
