Huawei. Customers are starting to RUN to Samsung, Xiaomi

Huawei. The customers of the Chinese company are starting to run "into the arms" of those from Samsung and Xiaomi, this is how much their phones have fallen in popularity.

Huawei loss

Huawei. The problems that the Chinese company has are starting to get more and more serious, and this is because the first customers started fleeing to Samsung or Xiaomi, as probably some of the analysts already expected. A website specialized in comparing prices for products sold online, which receives 14 million visitors per month, claims that Huawei has suffered serious losses in popularity in recent days after the sanctions imposed by the USA.

Huawei. According to this website, the popularity of Chinese phones in the UK has halved this week, after it was announced that important updates for Android will no longer reach them. The decrease is significant, and it shows that people are loyal to Huawei only as long as they have benefits from the compared products, but when these disappear, they start to turn to other products.

Huawei. Customers are starting to RUN to Samsung, Xiaomi

Huawei. At the global level, things are a bit better for the Chinese, the popularity of their phones falling by only 26% this week, so half in comparison with what was recorded in Great Britain. Those from Samsung, but also those from Xiaomi, took full advantage of all these problems, both manufacturers registering substantial increases in popularity for phones during this week, which is somewhat to be expected, considering that there aren't really any alternatives.

It's not just network providers and tech giants who are turning their backs on Huawei. Over the last four days, Huawei handsets have slumped in popularity – receiving almost half as many clicks as they did last week in the UK and 26% less on the global stage. Samsung has gained the most from Huawei's loss, with 13% more clicks on its products in the UK and Chinese electronics company Xiaomi clocking a 19% increase in clicks on its handsets.

Huawei. The popularity of Xiaomi phones increased by 19%, mainly because they are cheap and offer similar functions to those of rivals, while Samsung registered a 13% increase in popularity. Of course, this is only the beginning of the problems for those from Huawei, and for now the information comes from a source without very clear sales data, and when they come, we will find out how big the problem really is.

Huawei. Despite all the "reassuring" announcements from the company, the Chinese customers are pragmatic, and the haste with which they want to run away from the Chinese shows that the level of loyalty is much lower than in the case of Apple or Samsung.
