Intel Develops Laptops that can FEEL you

Intel has developed laptops that can feel the users using them, and get close to them, this is how they work for customers.

Intel laptop feels

Intel, the largest manufacturer of processors in the whole world, was present at Computex 2019 the past few days to present a series of interesting products for those who are interested in such types of devices. Well, within this international convention, those from Intel presented, with the help of some local partners, the first laptops that are capable of "sensing" when users are near them.

Intel helped those from Dell and Asus to produce, through the Atena project, new laptops that use the proximity sensor to be able to detect the moment when a user approaches the device. The proximity sensor can be controlled through a settings menu available in Windows 10, and those from Intel use the data provided by it to close the laptops, or open them, when we approach them.

If the user moves away from such a laptop for more than 3 seconds, depending on the set distance, it closes automatically, and when he approaches the set distance, the laptop opens automatically. The laptops benefit from a system called Instant Resume, Intel thinking it to start the laptop in less than 3 seconds, something that has existed in some similar version of Windows 10 for some time.

Intel has helped laptop developers implement these functions to allow them to substantially increase battery autonomy, reaching up to 9 hours for regular use, or 16 hours for video playback only. Of course, these numbers offered by Intel and the other manufacturers are just that, but maybe this time the customers will really have the experience that the laptop manufacturers promise.

The prices of these laptops controlled by Intel components will start from around 800 dollars, but they can reach much higher values, depending on the configurations offered.
