Bucharest Became the FIRST 5G City in Romania, but WITHOUT ROST

Bucharest became the first 5G city in Romania, but unfortunately everything is pointless at the moment for customers willing to use the technology.

Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is the first 5G city in Romania, and not from today, from yesterday, but for more than a month, but unfortunately to no avail for the people who want to test the technology so promoted globally. Vodafone and Digi Mobil have launched 5G networks so far in Romania, but unfortunately none of them have 5G phones in stores that allow the use of the networks in Bucharest, for now.

Bucharest has active Vodafone and Digi Mobil 5G networks in the Old Center, Pipera area, and probably at least one more area, but it will have many more locations from which they can be accessed. Both Vodafone and Digi Mobil currently allow the ordering of 5G phones that allow the use of networks in Bucharest, but unfortunately they are not delivered immediately, but from July 10 at RCS & RDS, and at later dates at Vodafone.

Bucharest Became the FIRST 5G City in Romania, but WITHOUT ROST

Bucharest since the beginning of this year, it entered a select list of cities around the world that have 5G networks available, but for now the benefits of this technology are not felt by customers. Even after the first phones reach customers, considering the very limited areas of Bucharest where the first 5G networks are active now, those who have access to the technology will enjoy it in a very limited way.

Bucharest was chosen as the location for the installation of the first commercial 5G stations because all the mobile operators, the companies that supply the 5G equipment are based here, and there is a very high population density. Also in Bucharest are the most people willing to test 5G, but also the most people willing to spend money on immature technologies, so the choice is as logical as possible.

Bucharest it will be the city with the highest 2020G coverage in 5, compared to the population that lives in it, but starting from July there will be other cities in Romania that will have active networks.
