Everything is based on the fact that the Huawei P30 Pro has implemented a ToF sensor, Time of Flight, which allows taking images in a completely new way, but which is not offered by default by the Camera application in phones.

Night Vision is the surprise function here, because in total darkness, the Huawei P30 Pro can retrieve information through the ToF sensor to allow people to see more easily in the dark as if they had a thermal imaging camera.

Unfortunately, at the moment the application is limited to the resolution of 280×180 for viewing the images, so you will not have anything to do with them outside of the phones you use. The limitation to Huawei P30 Pro and Honor phones with a ToF sensor is based on the fact that other phone manufacturers do not offer APIs that allow developers to control these image sensors.
