WORRY, Huawei Phones Take Another HARD BLOW

Huawei phones they are getting another very hard hit this weekend, and this shows how concerned customers should be about what is happening right now with their products. Although Donald Trump promised to ease the sanctions in the US so that Huawei phones would receive updates for Android, and other new models would be launched, the American president actually had completely different plans.

Huawei phones suffer a new strong blow after Donald Trump announced that from September 1 he will apply tariffs to Chinese products worth 300 billion dollars, which increases tensions with China. Basically, instead of solving the problems with Huawei phones at the moment, Trump chose to press even more on the already open "wound", and the Chinese company and its customers are the main victims in this dispute.

WORRY, Huawei Phones Take Another HARD BLOW

We already know that sales for Huawei phones stagnated in T2 2019 compared to T1 2019, and this despite the fact that the Huawei P30 series was launched, which has had a surprisingly great success already. The receipts did not have the desired increase either, and this is due to the fact that Huawei phones are no longer sought after by consumers because they do not know what kind of updates they will receive for the Android operating system in the future.

"Before Trump launched his final salvos, it was expected that he could ease restrictions on the company. Huawei, which is the world's largest telecommunications equipment maker and a major smartphone maker, has been on the US trade blacklist since May. But the decision to resume the trade war with a 10 percent tariff on $300 billion worth of Chinese goods starting Sept. 1 — effectively a tariff on all goods from China coming into the United States — calls into question any respite."

This uncertainty cost the Chinese company millions of unsold Huawei phones, or at least that's what can be said after there was no increase in sales between T1 and T2 2019, as in other years. The reality is that it is quite risky for customers to buy Huawei phones at the moment, and that's because they don't know if they will benefit from the future news for Android, or not, considering the problems with the US.

Huawei phones are very popular in China, where over half of the company's total sales in Q2 2019 were recorded, but in the Western world things have changed a lot.
