These exoplanets are exposed to the sun all day, but even at night there is an energy transfer that keeps them extremely hot, something that was not discovered on the planet Jupiter, at least based on existing analyses.

"Atmospheric circulation models predicted that nighttime temperatures should vary much more than they do. This is really surprising, because the planets we studied receive different amounts of radiation from their host stars, and daytime temperatures vary by almost 1700 ° C. The uniformity of night temperatures suggests that the clouds on this side of the planets are very similar to each other in composition. Our data suggest that these clouds are likely made of minerals, such as manganese sulfide or silicates, or rocks."
