Android multitasking

Android is so popular at the moment that Google has announced a great new feature for phones around the world, it will be offered this year together with version 11. During the conference for the presentation Samsung GALAXY Z Flip those from Samsung presented a special function that allows dividing the screen in two, and Google confirmed that this function will be officially offered for Android in 2020.

Android is going to allow users around the world to display different content from the same application on two separate portions of the screen, as you can see in the image below. Android it will have the functionality implemented natively for phones, but developers will have to modify their applications to integrate the APIs that Google will create for the system. The idea itself is very good, and it will offer new options for multitasking for all those who use Android phones around the world, Google's operating system being known for the fact that it offers superior multitasking options compared to iOS.

Android will have this new function thanks to the collaboration between Google and Samsung, the two companies seem to be in much better relations since Huawei can no longer implement its applications in its own phones. Android also needed a function of this kind, especially since foldable phones have become more and more complex and need new interfaces for use in the various ways in which they can be folded by the users who use them.

Android will have this function presented for sure during the conference that will take place in May, it being officially announced by Google, but the final version will arrive in August.
