RO-ALERT battery truck fire

RO-ALERT was used by those from ISU Prahova after a truck full of phone batteries caught fire, and the fire released a dense smoke, which of course is also dangerous for those who inhale it, as the batteries are made of materials toxic.

RO-ALERT was used to alert the population not to move to the area where that truck had caught fire, it was transporting approximately 500 KG of batteries for mobile phones, so it is understandable why everything could turn into a great tragedy extent.

The fire started from the car with phone batteries spread to a car collection center and dismantled cars, so the firemen were forced to intervene with several vans to put out the flames.

RO-ALERT is used more and more often for fires that occur in Romania, especially if they release very large amounts of smoke into the atmosphere, and in this situation with the batteries, the toxic smoke could cause problems for many people.

"A violent fire spread from a van loaded with phone batteries to a car collection center and dismantled cars in Pleasa, Prahov. The fire spread over an area of approximately 400 square meters. 5 fire crews were mobilized at the scene of the event."

Phone batteries are known to have a great danger of explosion, and it is very possible that the fire in that car with batteries started from a defective one, one being enough to ignite the others, especially since we are also talking about a quantity huge battery.
