Today, the Romanian Gendarmerie issued an important warning for citizens who are thinking of going to parks or other recreational areas on Easter, the authorities saying that they will keep a close eye on them to prevent them from walking.

The Romanian Gendarmerie has over 7.000 employees who will guard these areas, including on horseback, so it will be quite difficult to arrive in an area of ​​this kind without being detected by the authorities and fined up to 20.000 LEI, based military orders.

"In the context of the measures arranged for the prevention of diseases with the new coronavirus, but also for the daily missions of ensuring public order, 7.000 gendarmes will be in the field every day.

Also, more than 1.200 gendarmes will check parks and other recreational areas daily to ensure that restrictions on the movement of people, ordered by military ordinances, are respected."
