Government of Romania: Florin Citu's announcement regarding the General Quarantine

The Government of Romania Florin Citu Quarantine

The Government of Romania, through the voice of the Prime Minister, Florin Citu, makes a very important announcement regarding the general quarantine that Romania fears, especially since the number of cases began to increase exponentially after the reopening of schools in our country.

The Romanian government says that the situation is under control, including what concerns the British strain of the Coronavirus, and that for the time being it is not necessary to take new general restrictions, i.e. a general quarantine, but locally they will be taken because the number of counties that are starting to increase enter the "red zone".

"It would be good to look at what reality means versus scenarios. The reality was always better than the scenarios. The measures we have show that they have worked.

Romania ranks 3rd in Europe in terms of the number of people vaccinated with two doses and 7th in the world. It is clear that we have taken the necessary measures, the data says it. We're going with what we've done so far. The most pessimistic estimates will not materialize."
