RCS & RDS: The Serious Problem and what the Romanians gain from it

RCS & RDS recognition

RCS & RDS is, as you probably already know, one of the largest telecommunications operators in all of Romania, with over 10 million customers at the moment, and in full growth. Those from RCS & RDS have been champions of porters in Romania for several years, attracting hundreds of thousands of customers to the DIGI Mobil network every year, but unfortunately not all of them are Armenian to contribute to the customer base which is not growing much much annually.

RCS & RDS has a rather big problem with the loss of customers on the mobile telephony side, a senior manager of a competitor saying that, in his opinion, the number of customers leaving would be 35% - 40% of porters. The estimate is as real as possible since much less of the annual RCS & RDS portings are also seen in the customer base of DIGI Mobil, so it is quite logical to come to the conclusion that a lot of people are leaving the network.

RCS & RDS: The Serious Problem and what the Romanians gain from it

RCS & RDS requires its customers to sign contracts valid for 24 months in order to benefit from the promotions it has on porting, so the departures come either from people who denounce the contracts and pay penalties, or from older customers. Regardless of the situation, it is clear that many of those who end up in the RCS & RDS mobile phone network decide to leave not very long after concluding the contracts, and there can be many explanations.

RCS & RDS are constantly working to improve the infrastructure on which DIGI Mobil is based, but this is done over time, and not everyone will be happy with the changes. Until then, it is very possible that departures from the network will continue at an equally alert pace, or at least that can be estimated based on what we have seen so far, and RCS & RDS have not said anything in connection with this situation, even if it has been seen for a long time by many.

RCS & RDS combats this problem with bigger and bigger offers, and this forces the other operators to have lower prices for services, so in the end all the regular customers have to win.
