Romania Reopens Clubs, Bars, with Certain Conditions

The Romanian government announced yesterday that a variety of activities that have been closed until now will be reopened, including clubs, bars, but also concerts, or events that take place outdoors with many people.

The Romanian government requires that only vaccinated people participate in most of these events, but in the case of cinemas or theaters, participation is still allowed only with PCR testing, but the mask is mandatory in these cases.

"Bars, clubs, discotheques and game rooms have reopened between 5:00 a.m. and 24:00 a.m., with public participation up to 50% of the space's maximum capacity, only for vaccinated people. The degree of occupancy of the spaces intended for gambling was increased from 50% to 70% of its capacity.

If we undertake to do events with more than 1.000 people, then we organize ourselves to be able to do so. We increase the inflows, we increase the check areas. So it can be done. It's a matter of assumption here. Up to 1.000 there are rules, over 1.000 there are other rules, which, if we assume that 10.000 will come, then we must respect those rules."
