Apple Pay este primul sistem de plati mobile dezvoltat de catre Apple special pentru iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus si Apple Watch, iar in clipul video de mai sus aveti demonstrat modul sau de functionare. Apple Pay utilizeaza tehnologiile NFC si Touch ID pentru a autoriza platile, este compatibil cu o multitudine de carti de credit, dar poate fi utilizat NUMAI la anumite POS-uri care au implementat un standard Apple ce permite efectuarea de plati in siguranta.

Din aceasta cauza, Apple Pay este inutil in Romania si va fi inutil pentru cativa ani buni, asa ca nu merita sa va bateti capul cu el, dar putem totusi sa vedem cum anume functioneaza. iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus si Apple Watch recunosc automat POS-urile compatibile cu Apple Pay si daca au o carte de credit inregistrata in sistem vor afisa automat optiuni de plata folosind Touch ID, cei care au testat sistemul sustinand ca este cel mai util sistem de acest gen.
Apple a asteptat ani de zile pentru a lansa un sistem de plati mobile pentru iPhone si se pare ca prin Apple Pay ar putea revolutiona aceasta industrie.
