TomTom 1.3 brings Live Traffic and Google POI search

As you already know very well, these days the edition of 2010 of MacWorld, an international conference where the biggest companies in the world come to present various hardware/software products. This year's edition brought some very interesting surprises such as ANNOUNCEMENT Opera about Opera Mini for iPhone with support flash, revelations regarding the possible release of a version of Microsoft Office for iPad, Navigon 1.5, and this afternoon the announcement of those from Tom Tom regarding the release of version 1.3 of the famous dedicated navigation application IPhone.

TomTom 1.3 will come with live traffic support probably initially only available in the US and only on a subscription basis, Google POI(points of interest) search that will be available for free as part of the update and many other news. Version 1.3 will be released in no more than 2-3 weeks and from the statements of Vice President of Marketing Tom Murray, TomTom has taken into account a lot of customer complaints about the application and they have quite a long list of improvements and functions that they are going to implement in version 1.3 of the application.

I welcome the new version of the application, but the coverage for Romania is practically non-existent, I know that in the versions for Symbian TomTom it holds up quite well in terms of coverage of Romania, but the application for iPhone it does them no honor. Do you think we will see any update regarding the coverage of Romania?
