The MacBook solar charger promises to eliminate the need to charge the battery at the outlet

Voltaic Systems is an American company that produced a solar charger for the MacBook and an external battery called HyperMac. The solar charger is capable of producing 15W per hour, while the battery has a capacity of 60Wh. Until recently products they worked independently of each other, the company avoiding making an announcement to warn users that these 2 products can be used to keep a MacBook active for very long periods of time. Those from Voltaic Systems claim that the solar charger produces enough energy in one hour to keep the MacBook (13-inch version) open for 45 minutes, of course the period varies depending on the MacBook model and the installed hardware.

Basically you will be able to use that MacBook constantly without charging it if you leave the solar charger under the sunlight all the time. This technique could help you use a MacBook all day without charging it, but of course at night you will have to power it from an outlet, but let's not forget that here we are talking about the external battery, not including the autonomy of the MacBook's internal battery -ului.. The procedure is simple and very useful if you have $370 to spend, i.e. $179 for the external Hypermac battery and $200 for the solar charger.
