YouTube officially announced last night the launch of a new user interface for users around the world, based on Android's material design. Tested for several months, the new material interface launched for the YouTube website is currently accessible only to those interested in activating it manually.
According to those from YouTube, the new interface created for computers represents the future of viewing video clips, and this could be true. The YouTube company has created a very simple and attractive design, with the content arranged in a way that is much easier to discover, no matter who accesses its website to see the videos.
YouTube is still developing the interface that it currently offers in beta version, so there will be changes for it before it is officially launched for everyone. We are most likely talking about changes to the way some elements of the new YouTube interface look, but not about anything else more important for users.
YouTube has a new interface and a dark mode
A key point for YouTube's new interface is the new dark mode, which any user of the website can activate right from the start. We are talking about a module that darkens the entire interface of YouTube and protects the eyes if we want to view videos at night, the idea of the American company being very good.
The activation of the new interface of YouTube is done from this page by pressing the button Try, it being permanently activated until you want to deactivate it. Activating YouTube's new Dark Mode can be done using the options side menu, where there is a very simple button that allows us to switch from the dark to the light interface.
If you don't like the way the new YouTube interface looks, you can go back to the old one by using the button Restore Classic YouTube from the website menu. However, I recommend that you try the new YouTube interface before giving up on it, including that dark mode, because you will find a lot of interesting changes available.
