Apple remains without the Man who Created the iCloud Infrastructure

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), the man who created the infrastructure was left without iCloud, taking the decision to leave the company, and this could seriously affect the evolution of Apple's online services. Eric Billingsley is the man who helped the Apple company to create the infrastructure that supports iCloud worldwide, i.e. the servers on which everything works, plus everything related to the creation of this very important infrastructure.

Apple assigned Eric Billingsley the position of director of the operations division that oversees Internet-based services, with Siri operating on its basis, separately from other services. Without Eric Billingsley, Apple will continue to expand its iCloud infrastructure, at least 3 data centers are currently under construction, or expansion, in at least 3 areas on the planet, all for our benefit.

Apple currently uses Amazon and Microsoft servers to transfer data through iCloud worldwide, but the change in management suggests a desire for diversification. The company Apple wants to give up Amazon and Microsoft to create its own data centers, but it remains to be seen if it will have the ability to become completely independent from its giant competitors.

"An Apple executive responsible for operating data center infrastructure for some internet services has left. Eric Billingsley, director of internet services operations at Apple, was in charge of operating infrastructure for iCloud services, including the iCloud Drive document storage service that competes with services like Dropbox and Microsoft's OneDrive."
