iPhone Sales Are Good Ahead of iPhone X Launch

The iPhone has good sales if we go by the claims of LG Display, which claims that it has good orders from the Apple company for phone screens.

Phone sales iPhone remain high before the iPhone X launch, the LG Display company announces that it has high demand from Apple for LCD screens. As we already know very well, LCD screens are only used in iPhones currently on the market, iPhone X being the first model to have an integrated OLED screen.

Those from LG Display say that despite all the information so far regarding the weak sales of iPhone 8, the Apple company has large orders for LCD screens made. Moreover, LG Display announced an 80% increase in quarterly profit, and since Apple is its main customer, it is clear that the iPhone is selling well.

"Mobile LCD panel sales have been supported, partly due to the release of the latest iPhone. And although large-size panel prices have been falling, LG has been able to hold its ground well on the strength of its premium products."

Making things even more interesting, those from LG Display say that deliveries of LCD screens will increase in the next 3 months, a sign that iPhone sales will remain at a high level. This makes it clear that the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 series have good sales, but not necessarily that the latter is the one for which most Korean screens are used.

For several years, LG Display has been Apple's most important partner for the LCD screens used in the iPhone and iPad, the company earning billions of dollars annually. Now when everyone says that iPhone sales are low, those from LG Display argue the opposite and try to support Apple in the claims that sales are actually much better.
