iPhone X is Cataloged as Inferior to iPhone 8 by American Journalists

iPhone X is categorized as inferior to iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus by American journalists, despite previous tests that prove exactly the opposite.

iPhone X is classified as inferior iPhone 8 by American journalists from Consumer Reports, reaching a surprising conclusion even for those who are not die-hard Apple fans. According to tests carried out by journalists, iPhone X is not recommended for purchase before iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, occupying the 9th place in a top 10 phones worth buying.

The iPhone X was recommended over the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus due to the fragility shown in a resistance test, even though all three phones have glass cases. The three phones were placed in a drum and rotated 50-100 times to see how well they hold up, and the iPhone X was the only one with the screen and case seriously destroyed, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus having "only" defects for screens.

The iPhone X fared better than the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in the scratch and water resistance tests, but that didn't save it from being recommended over the other two models. The Americans stated that if that resistance test had not been done, the iPhone X would have been recommended over the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, as would be normal, considering the differences.

The iPhone X did not have a very great autonomy in relation to the Samsung Galaxy S8, according to the journalists, it worked for 19.5 hours compared to 26 hours for the Samsung phones. iPhone X obtained the best result for the camera tests, but overall I think that even those from Apple would be surprised by the cataloging made by those from Consumer reports, it being at least strange.
