The Ministry of Health continues the series of appeals launched for the citizens of Romania, the authorities asking the citizens to stay at home after the number of illnesses in our country increased by 143 in a single day, and the number of deaths reached 6.
The Ministry of Health shows us in the video clip below why the Coronavirus is a virus that spreads extremely easily, and why it is good to stay at home to avoid getting infected, its multiplication rate being unprecedented, even and according to WHO.

A simple calculation carried out by mathematicians at the London School of Public Health shows that each new case of coronavirus could produce 244 other cases in a month. This is because the virus spreads exponentially: one person with coronavirus infects 2,5 other people, who in turn infect another 2,5 and so on...
But if we halve the frequency of contacts, then each new case of coronavirus will infect 1,25 people, instead of 2,5. That means we can expect to see only 4 more new cases in a month. 4 instead of 244!
