Romanian Police: radars still guard the country's roads

Romanian Police coronavirus radar

Today, the Romanian Police issued a warning for the citizens of Romania, and this is because the radars are still active on the roads in Romania, even though the state of emergency has substantially reduced the movements of citizens throughout the country for several weeks.

The Romanian police certainly have less work to do in terms of monitoring traffic between localities, and there are certainly fewer fines for speeding, but there are still people who try to take advantage of the freer roads.

"Being with the radar on Autostrada A2 aka Autostrada Soarelui, minimal traffic, which means that people respect the traffic rules... and suddenly, the device registers 199 km/h, then 206 km/h and their top, 225 km /h.

If the highway is free, it does not become a race track and such acts are tolled, as happened with those listed above.

Light traffic does not mean speed cameras are pulled on the right. I'm actually on the right...right of the road."
