Coronavirus Romania Cases Cured May 26

The number of cases of Coronavirus is increasing again in Romania, today another 146 new infections were announced, and we see what happened after the application of relaxation measures in our country, the authorities saying that they are waiting for the results to see if new relaxations will be applied after 1 June.

The number of people declared to be cured is also increasing, reaching over 63% of the total infected, but there are still quite a few people who are admitted to intensive care, unfortunately.

Today's reporting shows a smaller number of cases compared to the previous days, and a little over 8500 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours, this being the first day of decrease after two days of increase expected by the authorities.

Despite today's report, we must continue to be very vigilant so that the daily numbers of infections continue to decrease so that we can enjoy the lifting of the restriction measures as quickly as possible in Romania as well.

"Until today, May 26, on the territory of Romania, 18.429 cases of people infected with the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 11.874 were declared cured and discharged.

At the same time, so far, 1210 people diagnosed with infection with COVID-19, admitted to hospitals in Dolj, Bucharest, Iași, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiș, Cluj, Neamț, Hunedoara, Constanța, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomița, Bistrița- Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Vrancea, Galati, Caraș-Severin, Mureș, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeș, Vaslui, Botoșani, Alba, Sălaj, Brașov, Mehedinți, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Calarasi, Maramureș, Olt and Ilfov, they died.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 146 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 181 patients are admitted to the ATI.

On the territory of Romania, there are 5.287 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 75.782 people are in isolation at home and are under medical monitoring.

Up to this date, at the national level, 385.728 tests have been processed.

In the last 24 hours, 476 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 1.437 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened specifically for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 169 contraventional sanctions, worth 116.200 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday, 6 crimes were detected for thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 Criminal Code.

At the same time, on May 25, 92 people who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 3.067 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.699 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 84 in France, 576 in Germany, 87 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates , Malta, Brazil and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 106 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 35 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have passed away.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 22 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
