12 localities in Arges County are currently being monitored for the establishment of quarantine measures due to the accelerated increase in the number of cases of Coronavirus, and the non-compliance with protective measures.

Among the monitored localities are Pitesti and Mioveni, the most important cities in the entire county, and if the second will enter quarantine, then it is possible that the DACIA factory will also be affected by what is happening in this context.

"The Argeş County Committee for Emergency Situations, meeting on Wednesday in an extraordinary meeting, decided to apply additional preventive measures, with immediate applicability, against the background of the increase in the number of cases of infection with the new coronavirus. 12 localities in Argeș are being carefully monitored, depending on the evolution of the number of cases of illness, and eventual zonal quarantine measures will be decided on Monday, 27.07.2020. The management of CJSU Argeș appeals to the Local Committees for Emergency Situations for the strict application of the measures established by law. As presidents of the Local Committees for Emergency Situations, the mayors of the localities in Argeș County are responsible for the exact application of the measures and actions established in the local monitoring plan. At the same time, the management of CJSU Argeș appeals to the citizens of Argeș to respect the preventive measures (wearing a mask in closed spaces, hand hygiene, maintaining physical distance) to prevent the spread of the virus and to avoid zonal quarantine.

The additional measures, ordered by the CJSU decision, are the following:

- Administrators of agro-food markets, as well as economic operators whose activity is retail trade, will proceed to the permanent monitoring in the premises of the commercial premises of the respect by sellers and buyers of social conduct and prevention measures - avoiding agglomeration, keeping a distance of 1,5 .XNUMX meters between citizens, the wearing of protective masks and disposable gloves by personnel serving the population;

- It is ordered to suspend all public events such as fairs, parties and others, as well as leisure activities in swimming pool and swimming pool spaces, with the exception of physical activities carried out, according to the law, by performance athletes, in all localities of the county Argeș, during 23.07. – 09.08.2020, with the possibility of extending the duration depending on the evolution of the Covid 19 phenomenon;

- The administrators of the commercial companies that own terraces whose activity was reopened during the state of alert will proceed to reduce their operating hours until 22.00:23.00 p.m. during the week and 2:XNUMX p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring permanent monitoring of compliance with to service staff and customers of the measures to limit the spread of the SARS-CoV-XNUMX virus, according to the law.

Depending on the effectiveness of the measures applied by the local authorities at the level of each locality and the change in the incidence of the number of active Covid-19 cases per thousand inhabitants, the County Committee for Emergency Situations will analyze on Monday the opportunity for zonal quarantine.
The localities currently under evaluation are: Pitesti, Mioveni, Ștefănești, Costești, Bălilești, Bascov, Brăduleț, Buzoești, Davidești, Micești, Stâlpeni and Vulturești."
