WhatsApp: WARNING regarding This VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM

WhatsApp is again at the center of a scandal and for millions of people around the world comes an extremely serious warning right now.

WhatsApp vaccination

WhatsApp is again at the center of a scandal and no, not because of the terms and conditions of use of its platform, but because of a much more serious problem that affects many people. More precisely, false messages have already started to spread on WhatsApp regarding vaccination appointments, this is separate from all the lies regarding vaccines, the disinformation campaigns being carried out non-stop with completely contrary messages.

WhatsApp it has long been used as a method of disinformation, the spread of fake news through this platform being extremely easy because of users who believe almost anything that reaches them through their phones. Now it's the turn of vaccination appointments to be the cause of a scandal in WhatsApp, and that's because some use the desire of certain people to get vaccinated to collect personal information from them, of course without offering them anything in return.

WhatsApp: WARNING regarding This VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM

WhatsApp has been used by hackers for years to collect people's personal information, and since the availability of vaccines for the Coronavirus is extremely limited, now the "battle" has moved to this topic. WhatsApp does not have any kind of real control over the lies that are distributed through its platform, so it is expected that in the next period the false messages regarding the vaccination against the Coronavirus will intensify substantially.

WhatsApp does absolutely nothing to stop the phenomenon, and has no way, because it does not want to filter the false content distributed through the platform, so people have to protect themselves against attacks. The problem is that even state institutions have people who communicate via WhatsApp, even essential data, as was the case of a hospital in Romania, whose doctor coordinating the vaccination center received through the platform the lists of people who needed to be immunized.

WhatsApp it is a global problem from the point of view of disinformation, and unfortunately many people fail to distinguish between real messages from the platform and completely false ones, although it is very important to do so.
