Snapchat started to be quite a popular application in Romania as well, being a messaging application that allows users to post video clips and photos that can be followed by friends for a limited period of time, these self-destructing.
During the day yesterday, Snapchat launched a rather interesting new function called 3D Stickers, which promises to put augmented reality in your hands. With 3D stickers you have the possibility to fix virtual objects for the real objects from the clips you made, which you can "stick" on them, even if they are moving. To understand exactly what I'm saying, look at the gif below.
The procedure for adding these 3D stickers is relatively simple. While shooting a video clip, press the characteristic "sticker" icon on the top of the screen, choose which sticker you want to use and then place it over the object you want to "track". Here is another example:
