A woman from the United Arab Emirates was fined 41.000 dollars and will be deported after looking into her husband's phone without his permission, thus violating his privacy.
The reason why the woman kept herself under close surveillance and followed her husband's activity on the phone, was the infidelity she suspected him of. The woman discovered clear evidence that the man was unfaithful and after telling her what she found, the husband complained to the police.
The authorities started a trial, and the woman admitted that she transferred images from her husband's phone. This is punishable by Emirates law, which says it is "violation of another person's privacy is prohibited", so the court decided that the woman should be deported and fined 41.000 dollars.
