iLDOCK – charges iPhone 7 while listening to music

You can listen to music while charging iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus thanks to iLDOCK, an adapter that has audio and Lightning ports included.

One of the biggest problems of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus lies in the fact that we cannot charge our terminals while listening to music, if we use the headphones in the box, or the adapter provided by Apple. The removal of the audio port from the iPhone 7 left us with a single Lightning port through which we should charge, synchronize, and listen to music.

Because many people started to complain about this problem, someone thought to solve it with an adapter called iLDOCK, which has a Lightning port and a 3.5mm one. In the video clip below, you can see how this accessory works, allowing both the charging of terminals and listening to music using a pair of headphones with a 3.5mm port.

Even if you have the Lightning headphones offered with the iPhone 7, then you can use the adapter to listen to music while charging your terminals, as it can be inserted into the 3.5mm port. This small accessory practically solves the entire problem of listening to music and charging terminals, and the world is already extremely interested in what it offers.

iPhone 7 - how to listen to music while charging it

The project to bring this accessory called iLDOCK to the market has already raised double the amount needed to bring it to the market, so it will definitely be launched in the not too distant future. Its creators asked for $5000 for it to be fully funded, but they've already raised $10.000 at the time of writing.

Separate from the standard version of the iLDOCK, which allows us to listen to music while charging the iPhone 7, another version also includes a USB port, plus SD and microSD slots. With the help of this second adapter we can expand the storage space of the iPhone by up to 128 GB using SD or microSD cards that we can buy separately.

At the moment, those who pay 5 dollars for this adapter will receive it with 83% discount compared to the normal sale price, so theoretically it will cost up to 10 dollars when it is released. Considering the way things are moving, there is a chance that the product will reach the stores before Christmas.
