iOS 11 steals a feature from the Instagram app

iOS 11 has a new function called Bounce, which allows the creation of pictures with an effect similar to those that can be made using the Boomerang function in Instagram.

iOS 11 brings a lot of news, and among those announced by the Apple company is a new function that is very popular in the Instagram social network. More precisely, iOS 11 natively brings in the Photos application, the possibility to create loops similar to those offered by the Boomerang function in the Instagram application.

More precisely, if we record a Live Photo using the iPhone in iOS 11, then using the Bounce function integrated by Apple, we can create a very interesting effect. The Bounce function in iOS 11 gives us the possibility to record a short video stream and play it back and forth infinitely, just as the Boomerang function in the Instagram application for iPhone allows.

The Bounce function for iOS 11 is only available if we record Live Photos using the iPhone, the Apple company limiting it only to these types of photos. This limitation for iOS 11 is implemented because Live Photos record a short video stream and allow the playback of several successive images in any direction we want.

The new functions of iOS 11 can be accessed directly from the photo editing menu, which is available in the Photos, Pictures application.
