Waze si Sygic have officially confirmed that in CarPlay for iOS 12 they will have the applications available to customers from all over the world, a change expected by many people. We knew since June 4th that Waze and Google maps are going to be available for CarPlay in iOS 12, but these were just two examples of applications that are going to be offered.
Waze is the most popular guided navigation application with real-time traffic information, at least for Romania, and Sygic is very popular internationally. The integration of both applications in CarPlay starting with iOS 12 is only a starting point for other manufacturers, who can offer their software to users all over the world.
We're excited to initially announce that we will be working to upgrade Waze to work with Apple CarPlay, and will be able to share details on roll-out in the coming months.

Waze and Sygic Confirm Integration in CarPlay in iOS 12
The integration of Waze and Sygic in CarPlay for iOS 12 will give users the opportunity to get rid of the stress of focusing on the phone to follow the directions of the applications when driving. CarPlay is a system integrated into the car's navigation, the application information being much easier to follow there, especially if they are also taken over by the car's HUDs.

iOS 12 will be released in September by the Apple company, and until then you should not expect this integration to be implemented, because it is impossible. Only after the release of iOS 12 will we have these services available from Wze, Sygic, Google Maps, and others applications, so we have to be very patient with them.
