Figures F3. The first phone that charges wirelessly AT A DISTANCE

Figures F3. The first phone that charges wirelessly from a distance was officially announced today, here's how important the technology offered is.

Figgers F3 remote wireless charging

Figures F3. As a very interesting premiere, this will be the first 5G phone that will be charged wirelessly from a distance, it being manufactured in the USA, where it will be initially launched for customers. Figgers is a company that in 2014 launched a smartphone that locks automatically in cars traveling at speeds over 10 KM/h to prevent use, and thus increase driving safety, which turned out to be not exactly an idea embraced by customers.

Figures F3. The third model of the manufacturer has now been announced, and this time we are talking about the first 5G phone of the Americans, which will be able to charge wirelessly at distances of up to 5 meters. Figgers F3 is going to have 1 TB of storage space, a dual 18 megapixel camera, it will have a 4K screen, and it will be water resistant, most likely having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip to have top performance for customers.

Figures F3. For wireless charging at distances of up to 5 meters, it is necessary to use a special charger called Figgers Super Base, which is the only one that has the necessary technology to offer this facility. Of course, the type of wireless charging technology used for the Figgers F3 has not been specified, so everything remains a mystery, at least until the new phone model is officially launched for customers.

The most interesting thing about the phone is the Figgers Super Base charger. It can wirelessly charge the F3 when it comes within a 5 meter range of the Super Base charger. We've seen concepts of this type of wireless charging with companies like Energous and WattUp.

Figures F3. The promise made by the company is an extremely brave one, and this in the conditions where the world has been waiting for years and years for remote wireless charging systems, but no one has managed to bring something like this to the market. Until the Figgers F3 will be launched, or will have the remote wireless charging system officially demonstrated, everything remains just a promise of the company, and nothing more, so the wait continues, unfortunately.
