Sorin Grindeanu, former prime minister and current president of ANCOM, said that Digi Mobil, and the rest of the telecommunications operators, need peace for the 5G auction that is to take place in Romania this year, as it is extremely important .

On the other hand, the turnover tax was not waived either, which the telecom operators contested, and have been contesting since the beginning of this year, being a major reason for the dispute between them and the Government. Practically, among the big demands of Digi Mobil and other operators in Romania, none has been resolved by the Government, not even the one regarding the special fine, which even ANCOM says is contrary to the Romanian Constitution, and can be canceled if it is challenged .
