To begin with, Digi Mobil announced that it currently covers 51% of the territory of Romania with its 4G network, which is an amazing achievement, considering that only a year ago the coverage was much lower for customers in the country .

A very important aspect regarding the 4G network is related to the "unlimited" mobile internet that customers benefit from, because it seems that there is a promotion that will bring more internet traffic to subscriptions. More precisely, those from Digi Mobil offer Romanian customers 50 GB of internet traffic for use in the 4G network, but in the case of the 3G network it is limited to only 3 GB, or 10 GB, with the result that the speed will drop dramatically afterwards .
The amount of traffic available in the 4G network at the higher speed can be fully consumed in the 4G network or, to the extent that both the 3G network and the 4G network are used, a maximum of 3 GB or 5 GB can be used in the 10G network depending on the package purchased. Promotionally, until 31.12.2019, the use of traffic in the 4G network of up to 50GB at the higher speed will be allowed, from which the amount of traffic used in the 3G network will be deducted.
Digi Mobil. Basically, if you live in an area where there is no 4G coverage, you will benefit from only 5 GB, or 10 GB, of internet traffic for the 3G network, not the 50 GB that the operator offers promotionally only for 4G. After you consume that traffic, whether you use the 3G or 4G network, the Internet browsing speed will be reduced to 128 kbps for download, and 64 kbps for upload, as all Romanian operators do, not just Digi Mobil.
