Raed Arafat: Romanians are recommended to stay at home for the New Year

Raed Arafat comes with new details on how Christmas and New Year should be celebrated by Romanians who want to protect themselves against a possible infection with the new Coronavirus, and everyone must know about what he says.

Raed Arafat recommends Romanians not to celebrate this year by going out on the street or going to parties, but just staying at home and watching TV, preferably only with immediate family members, without extended family, in order to reduce the risk for everyone.

"It doesn't exist at this moment, I know that at this moment we have no intention of changing the rules. I understand that HoReCa wants until 1:00, but it's exactly the situation where people will want to go to parties and everywhere, in places that are difficult to control and get infected. I understand their financial situation, but they need to understand that such a recommendation is not very good for the population that wants to go to such locations.

The rules that were approved by Government Decision remain. We have no intention of tightening the rules, but we have no intention of relaxing the rules.

We go out on the balcony, look out the window, watch TV.

I am convinced that some will go down in front of the block, but go out with a mask, to respect the rule in the public space. But no concerts, no parties, that won't be possible."
