Planet Mars: The INCREDIBLE image with which NASA AMAZES us

The planet Mars today has a surprising phenomenon presented by NASA in an incredible image with which it wants to amaze everyone.

Planet Mars has today an impressive new image published by NASA, one that shows us a little of what is hidden there, and why many researchers are amazed by what they see in the images. Those from NASA have published a new image recorded by the HiRise spacecraft, which has been in orbit on the planet Mars for some time, and it shows us some sand dunes formed on the surface, they seem to have been digitally made on a computer.

Planet Mars it has "striped" sand dunes, as NASA says, and until now scientists have not been able to find an explanation for how they were formed in this way on the surface of the planet. Sure, I know how sand dunes form in general, but NASA doesn't know why they have those stripes on their sides, and despite the fact that they've been monitoring the planet Mars for quite a few years, there are still quite a few unknowns about it at the moment .

Planet Mars it has many sand dunes covered with carbon dioxide, and considering that it does not melt, but turns into gas through sublimation, and the researchers believe that this would be the basis of these dunes. Of course, without doing a thorough analysis of the surface on the planet Mars, and without actually following what is happening with these sand dunes, for now they are just trying to guess the reality behind such a complex process.

"Why are there sand dunes on Mars? No one is sure. The featured image shows striped dunes in Kunowsky Crater on Mars, recently imaged with the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's HiRISE camera. Many Martian dunes are known to be unevenly covered with carbon dioxide frost (dry ice), creating patterns of light and dark areas. Carbon dioxide does not melt, but sublimates, turning directly into a gas. Carbon dioxide is also a greenhouse material, even as a solid, so it can trap heat under the ice and sublimate from the bottom up, causing geyser-like eruptions."

Planet Mars has constantly discovered some of the secrets it hides at the moment, but those from NASA still have a lot to observe before sending the first astronauts there. In this idea, a new robot has already been sent to the planet Mars, which should arrive on the surface in the summer, and it also has the purpose of collecting soil samples to be sent back to Earth for a thorough analysis of chemical composition.

Planet Mars it's currently the one in the solar system that gets the most attention from everyone, and that's normal, because it's the closest one that can be explored by humans.
