Telekom is one of the largest telecommunications operators in Romania, after DIGI Mobil since the beginning of the year, but it still remains a force that should not be ignored. Those from Telekom are fighting hard with DIGI Mobil on the mobile telephony market, while on the fixed services market the group lost the fight to DIGI, this being confirmed by one of the members of the company's board of directors, the division being sold to Orange.
However, Telekom remains very seriously involved in what remains of the rest of its group in Romania, the mobile services division having an extremely varied range of offers for customers in the country. We are talking about promotions designed to seriously compete with those offered by DIGI Mobil at the moment, but unfortunately Telekom is starting to lose even more ground to the Romanian group in terms of the portings made in its network.

In April, Telekom recorded even fewer port calls in the network than in the previous months, and this despite the fact that it did not give up the very good offers it has for all Romanians. Those from DIGI Mobil still carried out the Mobilization campaign, and it seems that it was much more attractive for Romanians than what Telekom had prepared for us, so that the mobile division of the German group recorded decreases in the number of customers ported in network.
Telekom remains with the mobile services division in Romania, and will continue to fight with those from DIGI Mobil, having a superior infrastructure compared to that of the Romanian group. If on the fixed services market those from Telekom have an infrastructure inferior to that of DIGI, in the case of mobile infrastructure they have a superior one, missing only the 5G part, but we will see that too after the auction for the frequencies will be officially organized 5G by the authorities.
Telekom will continue to have very good offers on the porting side, but those from DIGI Mobil are not giving up so easily in the fight they are currently fighting in our country.
