MOON: The Entire Mankind Targeted by an IMPORTANT Official Announcement

LUNA objective

The MOON is once again at the center of a very important announcement aimed at all of humanity, the Earth's natural satellite remaining in the center of attention even though much was also directed towards Mars. Based on an audit done for the NASA mission that would bring people back to the moon by 2024, the inspector general who oversees the space agency says that the objectives cannot be met as quickly as the space agency wants.

The MOON is the natural satellite of the Earth, the closest object in outer space that humanity can visit and analyze, but unfortunately this has not happened with human crews for long periods of time. NASA proposed to make a research base on the moon, and the first step to accomplish this goal was to return to its surface with astronauts in 2024, so that after 2030 the plans to start building the base would be taken seriously.

MOON: The Entire Mankind Targeted by an IMPORTANT Official Announcement

The MOON will not be visited again by astronauts until 2024 because NASA has not yet managed to complete the new spacesuits that the astronauts would use in the missions that will keep them on the surface of the Earth's natural satellite. NASA has so far spent more than 1 billion dollars on the development of the new spacesuits that will initially be used on the moon, but they would not be ready for testing in the spring of 2025 at the earliest.

"NASA's current schedule is to produce the first two flight-ready xEMUs by November 2024, but the agency faces significant challenges in meeting this goal. This schedule includes an approximately 20-month delivery delay for the planned design, verification and test suit, two qualification suits, one ISS Demo suit and two lunar flight suits. These delays – attributed to funding shortfalls, the impact of COVID-19 and technical challenges – left no scheduling margin for the delivery of the two flight-ready xEMUs. Given these anticipated delays in spacesuit development, a lunar landing in late 2024, as NASA currently plans, is not feasible."

The MOON will not be visited by the Americans too soon because of the inadequate financing of NASA, the problems generated by the Corona virus pandemic, but also the technical problems encountered in the development of space suits. NASA does not even have the space modules that should be sent to the moon, the contract for the main one being contested, so that overall the missions to the moon with human crews will take place much later than NASA originally planned.

The MOON is currently visited by a series of space robots, but those from NASA want to bring people there to create a starting point for Mars sometime after 2030.
