Raed Arafat Announcement Concerning the Testing of Doctors Who Do Not Vaccinate

Raed Arafat spoke about the doctors who do not get vaccinated against the Coronavirus and the proposed changes regarding their free testing, the head of the DSU stating that it is not normal for doctors not to pay for the tests since they have the opportunity to get vaccinated for free.

Raed Arafat comes with these statements in the context in which the Romanian Government is seriously considering giving up the free testing of medical personnel who do not get vaccinated, and this of course has generated many controversies, especially among those who are professionals.

"At this moment there is no discussion of obligation in the sense in which you are obliged to get vaccinated. Yes, it can be discussed and it is still being discussed in the health sector, you are not vaccinated, you are tested, that is normal. I mean, you're not vaccinated, ok, you don't want to get vaccinated, get tested. It is not normal to ask for testing at the state's expense when you have a free alternative and protect yourself. Any situation is analyzed and measures are taken in the end to reconcile the public health side with the economic side."
