ANPC sends a very important message to Romanians all over the country regarding the transactions they make at various merchants, and this is because, according to a Mastercard study, most do not recognize where they made the payments just by looking at the list of transactions in accounts.

According to a Mastercard study, up to 57% of Romanian respondents stated that they sometimes cannot recognize the purchases displayed in the transaction history in the mobile banking application.
For example, the name of the merchant may be unrecognizable or the name of the payment processor may be displayed instead of the name of the merchant, a fact that generates negative emotions for many Romanians who use digital banking services.
In this regard, a digital banking solution was launched at the beginning of this year that reduces the level of confusion in the case of unidentified transactions, which often lead to unjustified requests for refunds.
